Our story began decades ago in the 1950s. Just back from a tour in Korea, Sam Mulholland used his GI Bill benefit to attend what was then called Rhode Island Radio School in Providence. After years of attending school by day and working a job at night, Sam graduated and opened a small store on Broad Street in Providence. What would eventually become Mulholland Audio Video was born. Initially specializing in CB radio crystals and television antennas, Sam’s business evolved as technology advanced. With the advent of cable and satellite television, our video business continued to grow. In 1997, we expanded into the audio field as well.
Following in his dad’s footsteps, Jeff Mulholland took over as owner and president in 2013. From the time he was 7 years old, Jeff spent much of his free time on the trucks with Sam. Over the next several decades, Jeff learned everything he could from his dad – not only about the industry but also about running a customer-centric business.
While technology has changed dramatically since we incorporated in 1956, our commitment to customer service has never wavered. We have decades of experience helping people just like you customize projects both big and small.
